The dangerous meningitis strain Men W has a higher death rate than other strains of the disease and cases are on the increase

The Meningitis ACWY (including Men W strain) vaccination programme will start in August 2015 and continue into 2016. Only some young people will be eligible for the NHS vaccination in 2015, please check with your GP surgery

If you are unable to obtain a free vaccine from your GP you can book an appointment to have it done privately at a MASTA vaccination clinic
